Infinite Networks offers some handy call features for your Phone Service. We are always developing and creating new features where we can, so if you are looking for a specific call feature then please don't hesitate to email support@infinite.net.au and request it.

Number Display / Number Block

Description

The ability to not display your phone number when you are calling other parties. The caller will receive "Private Number" or "Uknown" instead of an actual phone number when they receive your call.

How to

You can request this from Infinite Networks Support team and we can implement this.

Unlisted Service / Private Number

Description

By default, Infinite Networks does not submit your phone number to online White Pages directories or Directory Assistance.

How to

This is a default setting.

If you wish your number to be public, please send us a request at support@infinite.net.au and advise us your account name, the phone number and confirm the billing address for your account. The changes will be effective immediately and we advise changes may take up to 3 business days to be processed.

Call Waiting

Description

For the person receiving the call, call waiting means the call they are on (we'll name as 'Caller 1') will not block the line when waiting for an important call. With call waiting the person receiving the call will hear a notification sound of a new incoming call, while on an existing call with Caller 1. The person receiving the call will hear a brief sound, typically two short, quick tones. This indicate that there is a call waiting - simply hang up on that call and the handset will ring.

The second caller (Caller 2) will not hear a busy signal if the line is being used, but hear the normal ringing with a slightly different tone to the normal sounding ring.
